How I Actually Got Here
I moved to Lee-on-Solent a few years ago and the light here got me shooting seriously again. The Solent at golden hour, the coastline, the woodland near Wickham, it's a genuinely good place to be a photographer and I realised pretty quickly I wanted to do more with it.
I've been shooting for years, but Jack Williams Photography is me making it official, building a real client base in Hampshire and the South Coast, doing sessions I care about, and being honest about where I am in that process.
I'm not going to pretend I've been doing this for twenty years. But I know how to take a good photo, I know this coastline properly, and I know how to make a session feel easy rather than like something to survive.
What Working With Me Is Actually Like
A five-minute chat before we start. I'll ask what you need the photos for, who you are, and what kind of setting suits you. That's it. Then we find a spot and get on with it.
I don't do a long setup process. I don't need you to memorise poses. I'll guide you through the whole thing so you're never just standing there wondering what to do with your hands.
Most people are surprised by how quickly the session goes and how different the photos look compared to what they were expecting. That's the whole point.
