Jack Williams Photography (“I”, “me”, or “my”) operates this website at jack-williams.co.uk and is the data controller responsible for your personal data.
I keep things simple and only collect personal data where necessary.
What I collect
If you contact me through the website, I may collect:

- keep basic records of enquiries and bookings
I do not sell your personal data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Lawful basis
I process enquiry data on the basis of my legitimate interests, namely running and responding to enquiries for my photography business.
Where you choose to submit information through my contact form, I also rely on the fact that you have voluntarily provided that information for the purpose of receiving a response.
How your data is handled
This website is built on WordPress and hosted by Hostworld.
Contact form submissions are handled through WPForms and sent to me by email using Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft 365.
This website also displays content from Instagram using the Smash Balloon plugin. If you choose to accept the relevant cookies or third-party content, Instagram / Meta may collect data such as your IP address and browser information when that content loads.

I do not share your data for marketing.
Your data may be processed by service providers that help me run the website and respond to enquiries, including:
- Hostworld

- Instagram / Meta, where embedded Instagram content is enabled
Cookies
This website uses essential cookies for basic site functionality.
It also uses third-party content from Instagram. That content is only loaded after you give consent through the cookie banner. Once enabled, third-party providers may set cookies or collect data.
How long I keep data
Enquiry submissions are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with the enquiry, follow up, keep basic business records, and protect against disputes. In most cases, enquiry data that does not lead to further work will be deleted within 6 months of the last contact.
